Our featured animal this month is a very handsome Halmahera blue tongue skink that we lovingly named Kimchi.
These blue tongue skinks are generally between 18-24 inches. They live around 15-20 years and hail from the Halmahera island of Indonesia. They can also be found in New Guinea.
Kimchi requires a 75 gallon enclosure (or larger). He needs at least 80% humidity and a basking area of 90-100 degrees.
